Stand Up Holster by Nite Ize

Although I haven't used it much as of yet, one case that I ended up liking more than almost any other that I have evaluated (due primarily to it's wealth of features and unique characteristics, was the Stand Up Holster that I received from Nite Ize. Let's take a look at its features one at a time.

Stand

First of all the case is "universal" in that it will fit just about any PDA with the possible exception of the new NZ70 model. The main pocket in the front has elastic sides and elastic straps for the bottom (thus leaving the hotsync port accessible) which allows it to expand large enough to carry even the NZ70V. The interior also features 2 smaller pockets in addition to the zippered one on the front. The elastic sides also contain an elastic pocket that can be used to hold batteries and such and the left side has an additional elastic strap that can be used to hold a pen etc.

The most unique feature of this case is its hard yet bendable metal backing that folds over and clips to the back to form a belt loop. By simply unsnapping it you can bend it into whatever shape "hook" you need it to be in order to hang it virtually anywhere. I took the following photo of mine hanging from my cubicle wall.

Stand

As you can tell from the photo above, the unit is held securely in place by two strong elastic cords. The bottom corners of the case also contain 2 "feet" which, when you fold the back into an "easel," transform the case into a stand that still allows access to the hotsync port via external cable.
