Review Covertec CLie NX73/NX80 case by Ivo
Kampshof
A few weeks ago I received my covertec NX73/NX80
case. I was able to test the case a few weeks long, and I may say that I won't
even think of it to buy another case...
The packaging and installation
The case arrived in a very stylefull, and really
good looking package.
The installation over my Clie was simple: I just
"moved" my clie in the case and that's it!
It all fits perfectly at the first moment, and it
still does....
Usage in normal life
As you see in the picture above, the case looks
great, and the leather is of really good quality.
The black leather does look good with my black
nx73, and the white stitching adds a nice contrast to the overall design.
Inside the case there's a good protection cover.
When you use the case, and you carry some creditcards and memorysticks, the
screen might become scratched when you use your clié in tablet mode.
The protection cover prevents this.
If you choose not to use the protection cover
(what I normally do), you can simply remove it from the case, and reinstall it
as much as you like.
You can carry a lot of stuff in this case with
you. Below here a list of the things you can carry easily:
- 1 memorystick normal
- 1 bluetooth memorystick
- 4 till 8 business or creditcards
You must notice that the size of the case might
increase when you use this stuff: when you don't carry anything the size is
like this:
when you carry 2 memorysticks and some
creditcards, the size is like this:
The only thing I dislike a litte bit, is that you
can't hotsync in the normal cradle.
Of course it's easy to remove your Clié
from the case and put it in the cradle, but a synchable case is easier :)
You can also buy a sync-cable, and of course that
one is usable.
Belt-clip
Covertec designed a nice new version of the belt
clip. The case keeps it's original size, and the only thing to do when you want
to use the belt clip, is to screw the round black clip into the hole on the
back, and you're done! You receive a screwdriver and some screw's too! Great
offer I think!!
Conclusion
I might say that this case is the best one I ever
had. I use it everyday at school, and I still love it! The case perfecly fits
my needs; I can carry everything I want and for the price of only 44,90 euro's,
you really won't miss this one if you have a Clié NX73 or NX80!!
