Leather Case for Tungsten T3
This
stylish case is made of matt black leather, with light grey stitching, and
looks extremely sophisticated. There is a small emblem in the bottom left hand
corner of the front of the case, and a small silver magnetic clasp. The case is
held shut by the magnet, and seems to be very secure. The leather is of high
quality, and adds slightly to the overall pocketable size of the T3. In the
case, it would no longer be suitable for a shirt pocket, but if, like me, you
have a tendency to keep your PDA in your jeans / trousers, the size is
acceptable. There is no belt-clip on the case, and there does not appear to be
an option of one at the moment.
The PDA
itself is held into the case by one of the most secure arrangements I have ever
seen- there is a U-shaped plastic bracket which holds the side of the case, as
well as two small pins sticking into the holes in the back of the device. It is
extremely easy to put the T3 into the case, but there is no movement at all-
you could be confident in holding this case open, face-down, without the PDA
falling out. I was very impressed by this, as it does not obstruct the sliding
section of it either- you can open and shut the T3 with ease.

The case
includes a removable slide, incorporating an ID card slot, which separates the
PDA-side, and the storage side. This slide protects the screen against any
credit cards you may have stored, as the case has space for two such cards, and
two pockets for SD/MMC cards as well.
For me,
one of the best aspects of the case is the ability to use the Hotsync Cradle
without removing the PDA. Whilst it is not possible to use the cradle with the
T3 in its closed position, simply sliding it open allows use of the cradle. With
the case closed, it is still possible to access the SD slot, and the audio
socket- so you can listen to mp3s safe in the knowledge that your T3 is
protected.

Conclusion
This case is extremely well made,
and serves its purpose admirably. For a few pence under £20, the case represents
extremely good value for money. I can thoroughly recommend this case, and I am
sure that anyone with a T3 would be more than happy to receive one of these as
a Christmas present!
