Introduction A few weeks back I published my review of Check List Pro v3.0 (http://www.clieuk.co.uk/clp.shtml) and have been eagerly looking forward to v4.0 which promised some nice new features for the serious organiser. Well, it's now available and turned out to be almost everything I wanted... Dreameesoft are one of the most responsive developers I have dealt with through the site so far and it was amazing to see so many suggestions taken on board and implemented within 2 days of the development starting. I asked for a larger notes field and the ability to have a chosen check list open on start up amongst other suggestions and they did it without query. There are a few more suggestions in the pot but as I have no idea how to program I'm not sure how feasible they are. Anyway, here's what's new and improved in v4.0- Exporting to MS Word with two formats (Format 1 - Intended like tree control with notes field as MS Word Notes / Format 2 - Linear format without any parent child relation) Exporting to MS Excel with two formats (Format 1 - Intended like tree control with notes field as MS Excel Notes for the corresponding cells / Format 2 - Linear format without any parent child relation) Outlook Integration Importing a list of contacts from Outlook under a selected Check List Entry. Importing a list of Tasks from Outlook under a selected Check List Entry. Import a list of Notes from Outlook (multiples notes will be appended) and saved to the selected Check List Entry's Notes field. Exporting a Check List Entry as a Task to Outlook. Exporting a Check List Entry's notes as a Notes to Outlook. Minor Changes/Bug fixes Abilitiy to change the font of the Check List Pro Tree View. Increased Task entry screen size & added "Status" parameter. Double click to Modify an item on Check List Pro Tree View.

Some of the above changes are not in the Pocket PC application such as changing fonts but hopefully they will be included in a future version. I can't make this a long review because it is still the same program as was reiewed before but the changes in v4.0 take it to an even higher level than previously. There is nothing wrong with this application and it has helped me greatly with the web sites, finances, general tasks and for all those other scraps of information I require to be in one place- it's just perfect!
