PDair iPod mini Metal Case mini-review

Here goes yet another
dreaded case review... Next to screen protectors these are the most difficult
items to write about but now and then I can make an effort for a good product.
The case is made of a
nice thick but light metal and has a design quality that fits the iPod mini very well. The fit is very snug but unusually the
iPod slides in with no real effort at all- I'm not
sure how they managed this but well done to whoever did the work:)
The sync/charge slot is
available as is the hold button and earphone/remote control jack. Unusually the
screen and jog wheel are covered when the case is closed but it's strange how
this has not bothered me. Take a look at the picture of the case open and you
can see that it is well worth it for the design consideration alone.
There's quite a big hinge
on the right hand side which may sound out of place but it looks great and is
solid as a rock. The closing mechanism also produces a reassuring 'click' that
tempts the owner to open and close it more than they need to:)

Add to this a good
quality belt clip and neck strap (both included) and you have an almost perfect
iPod mini case which is very, very good value. My
mini is currently housed in this case and I see no reason to change at this
time.
